Philodendron Scandens ‘Micans’ is all about colour and texture. Its heart-shaped leaves have a velvety finish and shimmer between deep green and bronze depending on the light. It trails beautifully, with delicate vines that spill elegantly from shelves or hanging pots.
Native to the tropical forests of Central America and the Caribbean, these Micans love bright, indirect light (too much sun can fade their velvety sheen), and you can water once the top layer of soil has gone dry. It’s not fussy, but it does appreciate a little extra humidity too if you can provide it.
